This year at ISE 2020, Avonic was proud to be joined by fellow attendees and technology partners HRT, who showcased Avonic’s CM22 alongside their own Huddle Hub technology. At either booth, members of both HRT and Avonic were ready and willing to show how businesses can benefit from the integration of the highest quality camera technologies within their small conference spaces and huddle rooms. focused particularly on how the HRT Huddle Hub One system allows for true wireless connectivity between participants and huddle room AV equipment, using their own laptops.
“The Huddle Hub concept speaks right to our core focus at Avonic”, said Walter Harrewijn, Managing Director of Avonic. “Usability, accessibility and interoperability are concepts that sit at the heart of the products we create. Issues such as complex set-up or connectivity issues should not interrupt the ability of everyday users to converse with each other seamlessly. Huddle Hub embodies this same idea – and through its ability to combine with products such as the CM22, it also demonstrates that making a product ‘easy to use’ does not mean that there needs to be any compromise in audio or visual quality”.
“Crystal clear images in collaborative spaces, accessible from anywhere, by anyone. Avonic is the perfect AV equipment partner for Huddle Hub” said Mauro Barbieri, Channel Support Manager of HRT.
The CM22 is an ideal companion to the Huddle Hub system as a result of its design and technological features – making it suitable for any small conference space. With a 4K wide angle lens it can capture the full group of attendees within the room with exceptional image quality, whilst integrated dual microphones ensure that every verbal contribution to the meeting is also caught with clarity. By virtue of being fully configurable in relation to exposure, colour and image settings, along with its ability to deal with low light conditions, the CM22 is far superior to traditional webcams – especially as it can be both wall and screen mounted. Finally, with UVC and IR control USB3.0 and HDMI output, the CM22 has the versatility needed to integrate with a number of third party technologies, of which Huddle Hub is just one.
Avonic – who have recently moved to new headquarters in Delfgauw, Exportweg 11 to accommodate their growing size – have also demonstrated a wider range of PTZ cameras in Hall 15. This includes the CM44 and CM70, which both operate on the basis of ultra low latency IP, bringing a range of benefits that include easier interoperability with third party systems, the ability to display video output within the same room as capture (without disorientating or distracting delay), and the ability to control production and capture remotely.
