We are currently living in strange times, due to the Covid-19 pandemic the requirement to shift to online training modules has required most creative institutes to dynamically adapt their way teaching.

Education facilities are now o
ffering more flexing training measures, though the challenge for a creative education facility is the ability to still offer engaging practical training in the online realm

At Amber Technology we understand the needs
of our education partners during this period, the requirements and challenges moving forward producing high quality content for your students. We believe the bundles below will help educators achieve engaging practical training, these bundles are designed to assist in creating professional educational content.

Small Lectures
 Equipment Recommendations

This bundle we recommend for small online training sessions and zoom conferences, designed for those working from home or in an empty classroom. The AVer Cam 340 handles ultra HD 4k output via USB, while the Yamaha YVC200 offers a high amount of flexibility, device connections and captures high-quality conference audio.

For those working from home in the audio production and music education space. We suggest the use of an interface to capture your Hi-Z inputs or microphones. Amber Technology offers great cost effective interfaces from Apogee, SSL and Mackie, giving you high quality microphone preamps, Hi-Z inputs and converters all built in small profiles freeing up valuable desk space.

There are several products offering streaming solutions for you DAW mix output, after running numerous tests, we can suggest AudioMovers Listento. We found it to be very flexible and offers several output configurations to suit all DAW streaming requirements.

Large Lectures / Practical Online Sessions Equipment Recommendations

This bundle is designed for institutes offering online practical sessions. An example use of this setup would be a studio mixing session. The Aver CAM530’s would be positioned to capture the lecturer and an overhead camera capturing the console. As these are PTZ models, the offer the ability to capture the lecturer's movement around the studio space and the flexibility to zoom into sections of the recording console.

We have suggested here the use of Revolabs wireless microphones and the Roland VR-1HD to capture and control the online stream. Roland VR-1HD offers multiple input and output options via HDMI, XLR and RCA.

Please get in touch with us at Amber Technology to discuss your education facilities online streaming requirements.
