USB is one of the most widely used and useful interfaces in the IT world. But in many instances, USB 2.0's 5 metre maximum cable length just isn't enough. USB conference cameras and microphones often need to be connected more than 5m from the host computer (especially when cabled through the wall, ceiling or floor). And how handy would it be to be able to connect a USB hard drive or memory stick a long way from the host PC?

• receiver includes a 2-port USB hub, with each port able to supply up to 500mA - works with just about any USB 2.0 device

• $829 inc GST RRP

These rugged little devices are field-proven over and over, and are a great way to extend (literally!) the usefulness of one of the most useful IT interfaces ever seen. Nifty Things for sure.
