The QR1 is a member of Xilica’s Solaro family, focussing on modular I/O flexibility and powerful dual core processing built into a compact quarter rack space format. The powerful Solaro QR1 is an excellent DSP choice for conferencing solutions and anywhere small format, cost effective, flexible and capable DSP is required.

Solaro QR1’s highly configurable modular design, powerful dual core processor, built in 4×4 Dante card, compact size, and PoE capability make the QR1 suitable for a wealth of applications in the commercial integration market.

Eight modular card slots on the rear of the unit accept a variety of available cards to suit any sized project, which provides flexibility to tailor the solution to fit your install and budget. Currently plug-in cards include 2-channel analogue input and output cards; 2-channel AES/EBU digital audio input and output cards; and 4-channel GPIO input and output cards, along with the 2-channel bi-directional USB audio card. The 2-channel analogue Mic/Line input card provides mic/line and 48V phantom power selection per input and uses premium grade mic pre-amps.

Plus, any card type, in any combination, in any card slot maximises I/O flexibility and a built-in 4×4 Dante card is a connectivity bonus. Transport 4×4 I/O channels of Dante network audio bi-directionally over Ethernet. Dante and analogue audio streams can be converted back to analogue audio or to Dante network audio using another Solaro series processor or the XIO expander series as well as any third-party Dante enabled product.

QR1’s drag-and-drop Xilica Designer software for PC and Mac is used to configure DSP functionality and the modular I/O card configuration, as well as the QR1’s programmable remote controls.

Solaro QR1 can be controlled in a number of ways: via Ethernet using the included Xilica Designer software GUI; with GPIO card ports; the optional XTouch50 and XTouch80 programmable touch controls; iOS and Android devices via our free XTouchApp; and with any third-party controller. The new XWP controller adds an additional cost-effective control option for projects looking to simplify control.
