Introducing the new Integration Designer 11.3, now available on the RTI Dealer Site and for direct update from within Integration Designer. The new release adds new multi-location capability in for RTiPanel, plus a host of performance and UI enhancements.
HIGHLIGHTS IN THE NEW 11.3 RELEASE INCLUDE:
Application Performance
Overall application performance has been increased by 2 to 10 times, especially during complex operations such as adding a new controller to several rooms or with large systems. This speeds up your system programming.
Processor Performance
We have optimized the System Manager to dynamically adapt to the actual system size. It now runs 5 to 100 times faster, consuming less memory and far less processor CPU for many operations.
Capacity Increases – System Wide
Controllers (remotes/panels) have a 20% larger page capacity than with previous versions of Integration Designer. A maximum of 240 pages per controller is now supported, depending on the complexity and graphics contained within the pages.
- Up to 200 rooms per system are supported.
- Up to 150 sources are supported within a single room.
- Up to 1,000 total sources per system are supported.
The performance enhancements allow larger systems to be quickly and easily created.
(Processor CPU power, memory, and system variable limitations are all factors that will limit the overall possible system size. Each system configuration is unique.)
User Interface Enhancements
The user interface has been enhanced in several key areas, and larger systems can be more easily created and managed.
- Buttons are easier to move and resize within the page editor.
- More zoom level options, plus keyboard accelerators for scrolling and zooming make editing easier.
- Smoother auto-save function.
- More consistent management of selected (enabled) activities and available source lists for fewer surprises when live testing the system.
- For larger systems, the overall system size and characteristics can be viewed within the tooltip on the “Global” branch of the system manager tree.

RTiPanel Multiple Locations
Dealers and end users can now access multiple systems/locations directly from the RTiPanel app without have to ‘Reconfigure’ in the device’s Settings app. Integration designer 11.3 supports fully integrated multi-system switching controls for RTiPanel based controllers. The RTiPanel Commands Object allows users three different options to switch between systems.
