Cole found a gap in the market and decided to fill it and The Black Mountain company was formed.
Cole was looking for the perfect pick for students and professional players that was different and innovative. After playing hundreds of different picks, he decided there was room for improvement, and he set out to invent a new kind of plectrum.
Cole spent a hundred’s of hours experimenting with different designs, and then, the idea of a spring sprung to mind. This was the light bulb moment that he had been seeking.
Black Mountain immediately went into production and launched a global marketing campaign attracting viral vloggers and artists embracing the seemingly impossible new pick.
After selling globally millions of picks and gaining distribution in just about every market Cole set his eyes on expanding the product range of the Black Mountain range.
The birth of the Ring trigger slide was next cab off the rank. Like the picks it gained momentum fast as it was completely unique allowing the player the flexibility to play with all fingers while wearing the ring slide.
We have heard whispers that there are even more products being added to the Black Mountain range of products and we can’t wait to see what Cole comes up with next !!!
