Danish speaker manufacturer DALI has expanded the possibilities of surround sound, launching more products compatible with the EQUI ecosystem; the world’s first true wireless surround sound system.
Traditional surround sound systems are often complex to assemble, but the EQUI system provides a wireless framework that delivers high-resolution, low-latency wireless audio without additional apps or speaker cables.
Creating an active wireless surround system begins with the new HDMI expansion module for the DALI SOUND HUB, providing a strong foundation for a high-performance wireless surround system (up to eight channels for 7.1 surround sound). The system is easy to assemble and use.
Users can then choose an active wireless speaker from the OBERON C and RUBICON C series and add the OBERON VOKAL C, a dedicated centre-channel speaker that is critical to complete a wireless set-up. The DALI WSR (wireless subwoofer receiver) completes the set by adding a wireless capability to any active subwoofer, making it part of the EQUI system.
Showcasing its acclaimed zero-loss wireless technology and active loudspeakers, DALI is proud to present the newest additions to its range of no-compromise wireless active speakers and electronics.
HDMI module
Wireless surround sound becomes a reality with this expansion module for the SOUND HUB with the HDMI module. This easy-to-install module for the DALI SOUND HUB also boasts the zero-loss and low-latency qualities DALI is best known for and connects all additional parts of the system.
OBERON VOKAL C
The OBERON VOKAL C is a new addition to the OBERON C range that was designed with TV audio in mind. Despite its compact dimensions, this dedicated active wireless centre-channel speaker provides a rendered audio performance that is comparable to significantly larger speakers. The cabinet itself is fitted with a 5.25-inch DALI wood fibre cone driver featuring DALI’s Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC), and a DALI ultra-lightweight 29mm soft dome tweeter.
DALI WSR
DALI Wireless Subwoofer Receiver delivers wireless connectivity to create the ultimate immersive sound experience. This plug-and-play solution is perfect for integrating existing products with the EQUI wireless surround system.
BluOS NPM-2i module
The NPM-2i BluOS expansion module for the SOUND HUB drives multi-room streaming to compatible devices through the likes of BluOS and AirPlay 2. The advanced multi-room audio technology facilitates streaming from various services, radio stations, and digital sources to any BluOS-enabled stereo system or speaker, using the BluOS app.
RUBICON 8 C
An active wireless floor stander with a huge sound, the RUBICON 8 C is a new member of the RUBICON C family. Combining high-end speaker design with modern convenience and technology, RUBICON 8 C takes the wireless DALI EQUI system to new heights. The speaker includes no fewer than three drivers that all kick in at different frequencies, creating an effect is a 2½+½+½-way construction and generates an amazing range and impressive sound pressure.
